The nation's first industrial common technology service platform in the field of brain science and brain-inspired intelligence—the Shenzhen Brain Science and Technology Industrial Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Brain Innovation Center")—is located on floors 4 to 8 of Building A at the Mingzhu Campus of Shenzhen University of Science and Technology, encompassing a total of five floors and 10,000 square meters of construction area. As a professional incubation platform constructed with the strong support of the Shenzhen and Guangming District governments, the Brain Innovation Center receives technical support and operational management from the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Institute of Brain Science Innovation.
The Brain Innovation Center adheres to the integrated development concept of "innovation, venture capital, and entrepreneurship" and the principles of "sharing, innovation, and service." It follows a construction and development path that promotes "shared research and development spaces vertically and horizontally, and the integration of industrial and research teams side by side." By establishing six distinctive service systems—open sharing of technology platforms, cross-integration of industrial and research teams, seamless connection of industrial and research projects, science and technology financial investment services, one-stop convenient entry, and full-cycle enterprise incubation—the center forms a virtuous cycle of basic research, technological breakthroughs, results transformation, and talent support. It explores a new model of innovation-driven development that integrates the "six chains": innovation chain, industrial chain, financial chain, talent chain, service chain, and policy chain.
